About the Program

Waypoint OS, LLC operates Waypoint OS, a transaction management platform used by licensed real estate agents, brokers, and staff at the real estate brokerages that subscribe to it. Waypoint OS, LLC sends automated transactional text messages to account holders who choose to receive them. These messages are not marketing.

Who Receives Messages

Only Waypoint OS account holders (agents, brokers, and staff) who choose to receive text alerts. Messages are not sent to buyers, sellers, or other members of the public.

How to Opt In

1. A brokerage that uses Waypoint OS invites an agent or staff member to create an account.
2. The first time the user signs in to their Waypoint OS dashboard, Waypoint OS asks once whether they want text alerts. The screen shows the full disclosure below and the mobile number the texts would go to. Nothing is preselected.
3. The user chooses Yes, text me alerts, No thanks, or Ask me later. A user can also turn text alerts on or off at any time with the optional SMS consent box on their profile, which is unchecked by default.
4. A user who says no, or does not answer, can still use their account. After a yes, Waypoint OS sends one confirmation text that explains HELP and STOP.

Opt-In Demonstration

This interactive demonstration is publicly accessible without an invitation or login. It mirrors the SMS choice in Waypoint OS, with the same disclosure as the sign-in screen and the profile box, so compliance reviewers can verify that nothing is preselected and that a user can continue without opting in. This demonstration does not create an account, save a phone number, or transmit any information.
